Lately on a small homeschool group I particpate in we’ve been talking about Teaching Textbooks which I started to use this year with my two oldest boys. Also I shared my thoughts on using it with a child with significant reading disabilties on the Teaching Textbooks yahoogroup this weekend – but it never posted for some reason. We’re Attending the 2nd Philippine Homeschool Conference: Launch Your Kids for Life and Success!
We have pre-registered last November 6 and the we are excited to be a part of this conference. We are basically sold out to the School of Tomorrow curriculum and we are already inclined to go for this when we formally start homeschooling our son next year. Somehow I just really need to look into this conference and be able to defend why SOT is still better. Having said that, I will still join the group with an open mind.
